Welcome to Awee Farm

Welcome to Awee Farm in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. We are a small (11 acres) farm raising Nubian and mini-Nubian dairy goats. We currently have a herd of 19 (7 mini-Nubians and 12 Nubians). All animals are registered either with the American Dairy Goat Association or the Mini Dairy Goat Association. Each goat is red separately and handled at least twice daily, resulting in friendly, easy to manage animals. This year, 2009, we have bred 10 does and kidding began on March 1 with two mini bucklings and one doeling. Our kidding season is expected to last until May 24, 2009.

We added a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) to our operation last year with 12 shareholders, so we have not been able to participate in any goat shows recently. However, our does are very good milkers giving us plenty of milk for making cheese, yogurt and goat milk soap, as well as milk for drinking. We test for CAE annually with consistent negative results and pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy, hearty and well-managed herd.
Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing either Nubian or mini-Nubian kids and are willing to provide a healthy, loving home for them. Some of our Awee Farm kids
